What size coop do I need for 10 hens?

I want to build a coop for 10 hens. How much space should I plan for so they're comfortable?

Team· Jul 22, 2026Allow around 2 to 3 m² inside the coop, and ideally a minimum of 10 m² of outdoor run so the hens don't get stressed.
